When Tears Sing by Satya Pattnaik
How can one forget
the passion of love,
when tears walk
with the heart
and sing
songs of pain?
Petals fall,
consumed by time.
Moments turn to dust —
silent,
alone.
Only fragrance lingers
in the hollow of memory,
grief unsaid,
yet always felt.
The warmth fades,
leaving a colourless flame.
Wounds remain to speak
and remember.
Tears sing —
memory dwells
in the heart.
