In 2018, Kiriti Sengupta established Ethos Literary Journal and obtained an ISSN for its online edition (ISSN 2581-592X). The journal launched with a skilled editorial team, including Amit Shankar Saha, Nikita Parik, Utsab Ray, Koushik Sen, and Pramila Tripathi. The initial three editions showcased a blend of poems, short stories, and critical essays, garnering enthusiastic praise globally. Unfortunately, operations were interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which ultimately caused the journal to lose its focus. We have preserved the first three editions of ELJ and intend to transform it into a poetry-exclusive platform. Meanwhile, we have introduced a new section called Poetry India, dedicated to Indian poetry written in or translated into the English language. This segment is solely managed by Angshuman Kar.
